Bus System

Reykjavik has an efficient public bus system operated by Strætó.
Visit Strætó’s website (www.straeto.is) for bus routes, schedules and fares. You can also use the bus app for your phone that you can use to purchase tickets called Klappið.

Buses nr. 11, 13, 1, 3 and 6 stop close to the conference venue, School of Education, Stakkahlíð, 105 Reykjavík.

Taxi Services

The University of Iceland Hospital is the largest hospital in Iceland and serves as a general hospital providing emergency medical services. If you require urgent medical assistance, you can contact the hospital using this number.

Road Assistance: 1777

If you encounter a problem with your vehicle while traveling on Icelandic roads, such as a breakdown or accident, you can call the Road Assistance service for help.

It’s important to note that emergency services in Iceland are generally well-coordinated and dialing 112 will connect you to the appropriate emergency response team.
